Reason #6 It’s all about supporting your hometown
When helping out or attending an Oxjam event you are supporting the local music scene. You will also be supporting your hometown!
How?
Oxfam’s plans are simple this year, to make this Oxjam the biggest one yet! They are planning more Takeover events than ever before and with lots of other volunteers planning things, it’s going to be massive! Also, with the recent partnership from Q magazine there’s plenty of opportunity for local events to be featured!
The more events in the area, the more media coverage for your hometown.
The more media coverage, the better the chances the local talent will be noticed, the better for your hometown.
